I photographed Lauren at her 18th birthday party last week. It’s taken me a little while to get around to blogging the photos though as I’ve been ill. Since I’m now sitting at home in self-induced quarantine, it seemed like a good time to write the post.
I only had a short amount of time to get the shots, as obviously she’d rather be partying with her friends than posing for me – but I was pleased with the results, and think she will be too. The style is inspired by the popular Seniors portraits done in America, and the idea is to celebrate a landmark stage in youngsters lives. It’s a coming of age portrait, I suppose.
